Zazen Bengals Wait List Deposit Contract   Zazen Bengals is a TICA registered cattery with champion lines and champion breeders of silver Bengal cats.  We are a small in-home cattery which produces only a few litters each year and in order to facilitate our ability to find healthy, nurturing, forever homes for our kittens we encourage prospective purchasers to place a deposit on the type of kitten that they are seeking which places them on our waiting list and offers them the first opportunity to select the appropriate kitten when one  becomes available.  Kitten selection is based on a first-come, first choice basis once the deposit contract has been completed.      1.           Zazen Bengals has 1 year (12 months) to provide the kitten agreed upon with respect to quality (show or no show, pet or breeder, color, pattern and sex).  The prospective purchaser agrees to complete the purchase of a kitten from Zazen Bengals if one is offered within that time period or the deposit will be forfeit. Wait list deposit will be $200 which will allow you to have first choice of the type of kitten you are seeking.   2.           Zazen Bengals sells kittens in three price ranges: Pet Quality $750-$1200 Show Quality Pets  $1200 - $1800 Show Quality Breeders  $1800 - $3000   All quoted prices include the following: Professional vet exam including deworming, health exam, all age appropriate kitten shots (except rabies which is the responsibility of the new owner), and also includes the price of spaying or neutering for pet kittens.  In the case of females who cannot be spayed until they are older, the owner will recieve a refund of $100 and reciept of their blue slip registration once they provide proof that the kitten has been spayed.     Zazen Bengals has 1 year (12 months) to provide a kitten that meets the agreed upon coloration, gender and with respect to a particular price range based on kitten quality.  In example, if a buyer wants to buy a male pet silver spotted he will be offered a male pet silver spotted kitten within a year within the $750 - $1200 price range and if we cannot provide that kitten than the deposit will be refunded in full.   3.           If buyer wishes to place a deposit on a specific mating from available Studs and Queens and if the mating does not cross inappropriate mates, then Zazen Bengals has up to 12 months to produce such kitten.    4.           A full refund will be given if Zazen Bengals cannot produce a kitten specified in the agreement within the stated time frame.   5.           Zazen Bengal’s reserves the right to refuse to sell a kitten to anyone if circumstances arise which lead them to believe that the kitten will not be placed in a suitable and healthy environment.  Should Zazen Bengals make this determination after a particular individual has signed a deposit contract, the deposit will be refunded in full by Zazen Bengals.  Zazen Bengal’s liability in these circumstances is limited to the refund of the original deposit amount.   6.           Once a prospective buyer has made a final decision on a particular kitten, a  50% non-refundable deposit (of the total amount of the kitten price) is required to hold that kitten.  In example, if you placed a wait list deposit of $200 and picked a show quality kitten selling for $1500, you would be required to provide an additional $550 to hold that kitten with $750 due at the time the kitten was delivered.      7.           Prospective buyer will receive pictures of kitten at as early an age as Zazen Bengals deems possible, ie. 3 days – 6 weeks of age.   8.           Specifications of desired kitten:                         Quality/Price Range                                                                               Color                                                                                                     Pattern                                      ____________________                           Sex                                                                                                    Mating                                                                                                    Deposit Amount                                                                                    Date of contract                                                                                     Optional refund date                                                                                           (if kitten is not offered which meets the contract requirements)    7.    Estimated wait time for kitten:                                                 Name of Purchaser ______________________________________________________     Address of Purchaser  ____________________________________________________   Phone Number ________________________________         Email ____________________________       My signature indicates that I have read the Kitten Deposit contract and agree to be legally held to the document above     Signature _________________________________________________________________________________                                                                                                                    Seller –Ravenna Windwalker, Zazen Bengals                Date 595 Badger Creek Drive, Brighton CO  80601 720-939-5853 rwindwalker@comcast.net / www.zazenbengals.com
